If you’ve been looking for a chance to deepen your connection and find community at First Church, now’s the perfect time! We have 4 new Connect Groups ready to welcome you (listed below).
To join a group, simply log into the Realm on the mobile app or browser
On the mobile app: select the 3 dots in the bottom right corner > select “Groups” > “Find Groups” > “Connect Groups” and scroll to find the one that interests you.
In the browser: select Groups on the left menu > “Find Groups” > “Connect Groups” and scroll to find the one that interests you.
Fellowship: Singles 40+
Are you single and over 40? This is the group for you!
This is a casual group of singles creating a space to meet each other and planning casual social gatherings and whatever blossoms from that.
We meet every Sunday after the 11:00 AM Worship service near or in the social hall. All singles 40 + are welcome! Look for our table sign and drop by to visit.

Justice: UUs for Justice in the Middle East (UUJME) Dallas Chapter
Are you interested in peace for the Middle East?
A Dallas chapter of Unitarian Universalists for Justice in the Middle East is being formed to fulfill locally the mission of UUJME (www.UUJME.org), a national organization dedicated to a peaceful and just resolution of the Palestine-Israel conflict that affirms the equality, dignity, freedom and security of all peoples involved.
To fulfill this mission, the UUJME Dallas Chapter will undertake a variety of activities guided by the 6th Principle: the goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all.
All are welcome! This group will meet the 2nd Monday of each month at 4:00 PM at the church beginning September 11, 2023. Join the group in Realm now to receive information and updates. Cathy Chapman-Hackett facilitates this group. Contact: UUJME@dallasuu.org.
Justice: Connecting for Reproductive Dignity
Interested in Reproductive Dignity?
This group supports members of First Unitarian Church who are actively engaged in efforts to advance reproductive justice for all. Members share information on volunteer opportunities, legislation, legal challenges, activities of supportive organizations, and support the group members’ participation in activities such as marches, demonstrations, petitions, and legislative action.
All are welcome. There are no recurring meetings. This group connects in Realm Connect and events are added as opportunities become available.

Calling all lovers of yarn, knitting, and/or crocheting.
Bring your WIPs and UFOs and come knit or crochet with us. Everyone is invited to enjoy making loops and knots in a community where we might unravel more than just our yarn!
All are welcome to join us each Wednesday evening, 6:00 – 8:00 PM, in the Library Lounge at church. We’re an informal group with a shared interest and a desire to learn new skills and help each other.
