August Giveback Recipient – Texas Unitarian Universalist Justice Ministry
Our August 2023 First Sunday Giveback recipient is Texas Unitarian Universalist Justice Ministry, our UU nonprofit that educates and organizes First UU and other Texas congregations to advocate for and support laws that uphold the worth and dignity of every person. By engaging with elected officials and joining with other like-minded allies, it works toward ensuring that laws uphold the worth and dignity of every person.

First Sunday Giveback has been proudly funding area not-for-profits since 2006. 100% of each First Sunday plate collection is given to a worthy nonprofit making a difference, as well as 50% of the month’s remaining collections.
