Shelley Ruprecht joins the staff as Children’s Ministries Coordinator
We are excited to welcome Shelley Ruprecht as the new Children’s Ministries Coordinator. Shelley will support our church’s ministry with children in the Nursery through 9th grade through coordinating the Sunday School program, supporting our volunteer teachers, and creating a loving community for children that reinforces our values of “open minds, loving hearts, and helping hands.”
A message from Shelley:
I am so honored to have this opportunity to serve our beloved community! Children’s Ministries has been a source of welcome, inspiration, empowerment, fun and learning for my daughters for many years now. Martha and team have made First Church a home for so many families, including my own. It is with great delight that I join you all as we continue to grow and engage our children in our UU faith. I am looking forward to getting to know you all this summer, as we embark on another amazing year ahead!
Our Children’s Ministries Coordinator of many years, Martha Norton, will continue on staff as Finance & Stewardship Assistant. Join us in celebrating her service to Children’s Ministries as she transitions from one role to another on Sunday, June 4th after the 11 a.m. service.
