Take Action for Social Justice

March 13, 2023 – Austin, Texas

Help represent First UU Dallas by joining with our Social Action Council (SAC) and other UU congregations throughout the state by attending the Texas UU Justice Ministry (TXUUJM) LEGISLATIVE DAY.

Activities will include meeting with your Texas legislators to voice your support and/or concerns on legislation that are being considered RIGHT NOW during the current session, as well as creating relationships with other UU congregations and allies promoting social justice.

Social Justice issues dealing with Healthcare (Medicaid Expansion), LGBTQIA+ Equality rights, Reproductive Rights, Education, Voting, Climate, Criminal Justice Reform and other are all being impacted by prospective legislation.
