Join a Choir – 3 opportunities to sing with others in ’23-24
Our adult choirs will begin gathering again this fall; enjoying the rewards of singing together and providing music for our worship services.
There will be three opportunities for adults to join in singing with others: the Sanctuary Choir, Kindred Voices Choir, and By Your Side Singers.
Sanctuary Choir:
This choir provides musical leadership for Sunday morning worship approximately twice a month, as well as holiday services. The repertoire performed by this choir emphasizes traditional and contemporary classics as well as choral arrangements of folk songs, spirituals.

Kindred Voices
This adult choir is geared toward those who have had little or no singing experience, and those who simply want to enjoy singing easier music in a choir with fewer performance responsibilities than the Sanctuary Choir. Due to a shorter rehearsal time, the music tends to be of easy to moderate difficulty and includes world music, spirituals, broadway and traditional anthems, all sung in a fun, supportive environment.

By Your Side Singers
By Your Side Singers offers the gift of song, to bring people ease and comfort through music during times of illness. Singers go in small groups to visit people where they are–in their homes, or in hospice, hospital, rehabilitation, memory care, and other settings. The songs are simple and brief, chosen to offer soothing comfort. Most of the songs are not religiously oriented; our singing provides encouragement whether someone is religious or not.
