Food Drive for Wilkinson Center – July 9-23

First Church is participating in the Wilkinson Center’s Stock up for Summer campaign.  Their goal is to collect 10,000 pounds of food to serve their food insecure clients over the summer.  Summer can be especially difficult for families with children who are not getting meals at school.  Bring your donations to Channing July 9, 16, or 23. 

Suggested items are: mac & cheese (box), canned pasta (i.e. Chef Boyardee), canned meat (chicken, tuna, ham, spam), Jelly (no peanut butter), cereal, kid friendly snacks (gold fish, pretzels, granola bars, etc.), canned fruit & vegetables.  Also, diapers – all sizes (including adult sizes), hygiene, and cleaning supplies.
