An Evening with Bill McKibben on Heat, Climate, and Clean Energy
Third Act invites you to join Bill McKibben for a down-to-earth chat about how we can tackle heat, climate change, and switch to clean energy.
Hear Bill McKibben, one of America’s most influential environmental writers and activists, as he brings his powerful message to Dallas. McKibben, co-founder of Third Act and 350.org, and author of the newly released Here Comes the Sun, will speak on the urgent intersection of environmental protection and democracy — and why the fight for a livable planet and the fight for our democratic institutions are, at their core, the same fight. In his latest book, McKibben makes the case that solar energy isn’t just a technology — it’s a transformative force capable of reshaping economies, communities, and political power for the better. Held at the First Unitarian Church of Dallas, don’t miss this chance to hear this exciting speaker. RSVPs required. Limited seating. Cost: $15.
***Registration is required, limited seating: Free registration for students with student ID and for First Unitarian Church members. Email chapat037@gmail.com for free registration.
