On Sunday, May 31, Director of Equity Initiatives Jerry Hawkins and the Racial Equity Task Force will host a workshop about “Dominant Culture” — what it is, how it quietly shapes our church life, and what it might look like to change it.

• We’ll address barriers to belonging in our church
• How our intentions can be fulfilled with real work
• How the dominant culture around us is based on fallacies and injustices
• And how to lead in ways that shift the dominant culture to one of belonging and right relationship
