Aging Well Series – Heart Health as We Age: What’s Important and What’s Not

As the opening event of this year’s Aging Well Series, join congregant and cardiologist Dr. John Rutherford to learn how to best care for your cardiac health for today and tomorrow.

After 32 years of transformative leadership at UT Southwestern,  Dr. Rutherford recently retired as Vice President of Clinical Operations,  Professor of Internal Medicine and was named Professor Emeritus. Dr Rutherford is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, and was voted one of the Best Doctors in America from 2001 to 2012. 

Based on his years of experience working with patients to prevent and treat heart disease, Dr. Rutherford will share with us what’s important and what’s not in maintaining a healthy heart throughout our lives.
