We invite you to join our team of local volunteers bringing hope and love to our neighbors in the East Dallas community.  Our Food Pantry program assists approximately 300 low-income families each month.

As a volunteer with First Unitarian, you can support by packing groceries, helping with paperwork (bilingual skills are a plus), or loading groceries into cars.  Volunteer setup begins at 8:30 AM, and the main event starts at 9:00 AM.  Upon arrival, you will complete a release form, receive a name tag, tour the facilities, and choose your assignment.

Details:

– Rain or shine (please bring an umbrella if needed).

– Dress comfortably with appropriate shoes.

– Seating will be provided for those who need it.

– Children are welcome but must be supervised by an adult.

Please RSVP in Realm  to help us demonstrate “Service is our Prayer” in East Dallas.
