Autumn Equinox Potluck & Ritual hosted by Earth Centered Spirituality – September 27th

Friday, September 27th
5:30 – 7:30 pm
First Unitarian Church of Dallas Courtyard

As we move into the final quarter of the year, we will reflect on the blessings and lessons from the year so far and set our intentions for the end of the year. This month’s gathering will have a fun, casual, fall festival energy (similar to our Mayday/Bealtaine gathering) – families are highly encouraged to attend!

Here’s what to expect from this gathering:

🍂 The entire gathering will take place outside in the courtyard.

🍂 Incorporate fall fruits and vegetables into your potluck dishes – apples, pumpkin, wheat, grain, berries, etc.

🍂 Leave-no-trace gathering – please bring your own reusable plates, cups, and silverware and take with you to clean at home. We will have extra if you are unable to bring these items. (Thanks to Jenani for the inspiration for this idea!)

🍂 Please bring fall leaves – We will be using fall leaves for our crafts and for our leaf burning ritual.

🍂 Fall crafts and activities – We will bob for apples, make leaf crowns, and paint pumpkins.

🍂 Leaf burning ritual – We will write our intentions on leaves and burn the leaves to put those intentions into motion.

This monthly event is open to individuals of all backgrounds and beliefs who wish to come together in reverence for nature and community.

Please join the group in Realm to RSVP and sign up for potluck items if you can.
