Scout Sunday is February 11th

We presently have 20 adult leaders and 35 youth registered between our church-sponsored Cub Scout Pack 1899 and Scouts BSA Girl Troop 1899. The units include members from the church, as well as families from the broader community who seek a welcoming and inclusive scouting experience.

This is the 8th year the pack has been in existence and the 3rd year for our troop.

Troop 1899 is proud to have awarded three of the prestigious Eagle Scout awards to young women in the past twelve months. The troop has been busy with camping experiences which also have included climbing, zip lining, kayaking … and solar eclipse viewing at Palo Duro Canyon! Community service has included assistance with National Night Out, in addition to community Eagle service projects.

Pack 1899 has had family campouts (one each in the spring and fall) and has gone on lots of hikes, as well as launching rockets and holding a Pinewood Derby race. The cubs have had real life experience with subjects as diverse as first aid, physical fitness, and Leave No Trace.
