How to engage in your Realm Groups by creating posts and events

Once you’ve joined a group inside of Realm, you can engage in the group by creating text and picture posts, creating and  RSVPing to group events, and liking and commenting on others posts.

Engaging this way inside the group helps you to stay connected with other group members between meetings and helps everyone to get to know each other better. The more engaging your group does, the stronger it will be.

02:05 – Text posts are a great option if you have a quick question to ask the group or you want to introduce yourself or share an update.

03:41 – Photo posts are similar to text posts, but tend to more engaging because visuals tend to attract more attention. You can use photo posts to share photos from group events or group leaders can design simple graphics using free software like Canva to make announcements or increase engagement.

05:10 – Creating events inside of your Realm group helps to keep information like private addresses and phone numbers protected and it can increase attendance to your events, especially for new members of your group. Depending on your groups settings, you might be able to create your own event within the group.
