90 campers attend sumfun! 2023
sumfun! 2023 was a full and wonderful week!
We had about 90 Campers, 38 Junior Counselors, 30 Counselors, and 22 Specialists that made this jam-packed day camp happen. That’s 180 Community Members! We also collected and then donated 401 lbs of pantry items to Wilkinson Center (which our 6th & 7th grade campers delivered in caravan on Friday.)
Our campers enjoyed campfire lunches, water science and technology sessions, a variety of arts and craft, mindfulness meditation, live animal shows (from worms to kangaroos!), singing & dancing, yoga asanas, tea time, water games, scavenger hunts and, of course, the chance to tie-dye their sumfun! t-shirt – all while connecting our actions and activities to our UU Values.
