UU Learning Community – Psychopharmacology and Spirituality, Digital Minimalism

In the UULC session on December 7, Richard Grayson and Steve Jensen will lead a session entitled The Good Friday Experiment: Psychopharmacology and Spirituality.

In preparation for this session, we suggest you read a brief account of the experiment and view this video interview with noted psychedelic researcher, Dr. Richard Doblin.  His longer more nuanced scientific paper and his 2019 TEDTalk provide more detailed information about this fascinating experiment and its follow-up.

There will not be a Zoom option for this session. It will be held in Hallman 305, 9:30–10:30 AM. 

Our final session for 2025 on December 14 will be entitled “Digital Minimalism” and is  based on the work of Cal Newport, looking at mindful use of digital devices and social media.  Video links will be provided in Realm.
