Shoreline Cleanup with For the Love of the Lake
Saturday, May 10th
8 am – 12 pm at White Rock Lake

Come and join the First Unitarian Community Service Team on the second Saturday of each month to assist in beautifying the shores of White Rock Lake. Join us anytime between the hours of 8am and noon and stay as long as you like. (We know its getting hot out there!) Meet us between QR markers WRT 102 and WRT 104 on the east side of the lake.  Pinned location

Directions:  Enter the park at East Lawther Lane off of Garland Road, just south of the Arboretum.  Follow it north and look for our Community Service sign between the lake QR signs WRT 102 and WRT 104.  ( There are parking areas to pull over in as you come up E. Lawther.)   We will provide trash bags and grabbers when you arrive.  To assure we bring enough supplies, please RSVP in Realm. We will also have a limited amount of work gloves and free First U t-shirts.  This is an activity that is suitable for the whole family!  See attachments for safety reminders and an example of the QR signs at the lake.   For further details about the program click here.
