September Giveback Recipient – Texas UU Justice Ministry
Our September 2024 First Sunday Giveback recipient is Texas Unitarian Universalist Justice Ministry. Texas’ UU statewide non-profit works to bend Texas toward justice by connecting our UU congregations for spiritually grounded social justice actions. Working together with like-minded allies, it pursues passage of legislation that reflect our faith’s principles and values

First Sunday Giveback has been proudly funding area not-for-profits since 2006. 100% of each First Sunday plate collection is given to a worthy nonprofit making a difference, as well as 50% of the month’s remaining collections.
