Minister of Faith Development
Beth first came to First Unitarian Church of Dallas in June 2013 as Sabbatical Minister. She returned in August 2014, became Minister of Congregational Life in November 2015 (the same month the congregation ordained her into the Unitarian Universalist ministry), and in June 2020 became the Minister of Faith Development.
Beth is a lifelong Unitarian Universalist, raised in Albany, NY. She received a B.A. in Religious Studies and Metropolitan Studies from New York University in 2008. She studied abroad in Ghana, and took two years off from undergrad to serve the Unitarian Universalist Association. She earned her Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York in 2012. She now lives in east Dallas with her wife Erin and their twins Ellery and MD.
Beth leads the Adult & Children’s Ministries staff, guiding children, teens, and adults in their spiritual exploration, faith development, and understanding of what it means to be a Unitarian Universalist, and providing opportunities for participation and leadership in Sunday morning programs and special events. If you’d like to know more about the church’s philosophy of religious education and faith development or want to be more involved by teaching or creating a special event, talk to Beth!
