Join the Pastoral Care Team!

Two important Pastoral Care teams are in need of new members, providing meaningful opportunities to support our church community.

Quilt Card Team

The Quilt Card Team is a dedicated group that spreads kindness and support through handwritten notes. Each team member receives a set of cards featuring artwork created by children of the congregation. Assignments include writing a caring note to someone in the church community who could use encouragement—whether celebrating a joyful moment or navigating a difficult time. This simple yet powerful gesture helps ensure that all members feel remembered and valued.

After Hours Phone Team

This team provides an essential service by staying connected to the congregation outside of regular church hours. Members of the After Hours Phone Team take turns carrying the church’s after-hours phone for two weeks, twice a year. If preferred, the phone number can be transferred to a personal phone, eliminating the need to carry a second device. While the phone rarely rings, when it does, it serves as a crucial lifeline for those in need of pastoral care or ministerial support.
