Many who visit the Dallas I.C.E. Field Office have needs that their community can assist them with. If this sounds like something you want to learn more about, Sandra Avalos of La Colectiva will train you for shifts to provide care and support. Special need for fluent Spanish speakers is needed.
This is also good training for people who are looking for ways to practice de-centering our own experiences and looking at pressing issues from another person’s point of view. Will meet in Room 305 in the Hallman Building. Parking will be available along St. Andrews and behind the main building.
