Gayle Watson: Finding Community Beyond Distance

A member of First Unitarian Church of Dallas for over forty years, Gayle Watson officially joined in 1991 and has remained deeply connected ever since. After moving to Northwest Arkansas during COVID, she missed the sense of community, the spiritual depth, and the music that had long been part of her church life. Through online membership, Gayle found renewed connection. She became involved in the strategic planning steering committee and the long-running Virtual Connection Group—communities that keep her engaged, supported, and spiritually fulfilled. For Gayle, online participation has become a meaningful way to stay close to the church she’s always called home.
