We invite you to join our team of over 850 local volunteers who bring hope and love to our neighbors in need in the East Dallas community. Our Food Pantry program assists low-income families facing financial difficulties, with approximately 300 families seeking help each month. As a volunteer with First Unitarian, you can support in various ways, such as packing groceries, helping with paperwork (bilingual skills are a bonus), and taking groceries to cars.

The event begins at 9 am, with an option to come at 8:30 am for early assistance. You will complete a release form, get a name tag, tour the facilities, and receive your tasks. Whether rain or shine, please bring an umbrella if rain is expected. Dress comfortably and wear appropriate shoes. Seating will be provided for those in need. Children are welcome but must be supervised by an adult. The event is scheduled for August 2 at the White Rock Center of Hope.
