Community Service

Community Service is one of the five lifelong practices that guide us on our path to creating a more just and peaceful world.

The Community Service Committee identifies, promotes, and coordinates community-service activities that stimulate personal and spiritual growth through shared efforts to enrich our community.

Volunteers are a critical component of how our community organizations deliver their services. Many of these organizations are listed below with information about opportunities for:

Individuals – Individuals volunteer for a few hours a week or a month
Groups – Groups of volunteers for a specific task or event
Seniors – Volunteer work does not require heavy lifting or standing for long periods
Teenagers – Teenagers 14 and younger must be supervised by an adult
