About Lida: Lida Roman is a college consultant now based in Dallas with deep experience mentoring students from K–16, Lida brings a rich background in education to her consulting work.

She holds an MS in Education Policy and Management from Harvard University, an MS in Bilingual Education from Fordham University, and a BA in Political Science from Marymount Manhattan College. Lida has served as an admissions reader for Stanford University and previously led high school admissions for New York City Public Schools.

During her tenure in NYC, she helped launch the city’s first-ever virtual arts audition submission platform during the pandemic—an innovation that earned honorable mention from the NYC Tech(X) Award. She was also selected as a Leadership in Education Fellow at Harvard University and was part of a Fulbright educator team that traveled to Kenya and Tanzania to explore the intersection of education and culture.

Lida offers students an insider’s view of the application process. Her comprehensive understanding of the educational landscape, combined with her expertise in evaluating coursework and extracurricular engagement, allows her to deliver personalized guidance. Lida is passionate about helping students uncover and express their unique intellectual interests, empowering them to submit standout college applications with confidence.
