Clothes Encounters – Volunteer, Donate, Shop, & Invite Your Friends! – Details inside
Join us for a pop-up boutique the weekend before Valentine’s Day! Shop for lovely new and gently-used women’s clothing, jewelry, handbags and accessories donated by women in our church and their friends. Make a generous donation and take home a treasure!
Clothes Encounters is a Women’s Alliance Fundraiser for local charities and church programs.
Shopping Hours:
Friday, February 7, from 4:30-7 pm
Saturday, February 8, from 10 am – 2 pm
Sunday, February 9, from 9 am – 2 pm, with a Clothing Bag Sale from 1 – 2 pm
New This Year:
Toffee raffle! Buy raffle tickets to win Rhonda Koetting’s legendary toffee!
Clothing Bag Sale! On Sunday from 1:00-2:00 pm, shoppers can fill a bag with clothes for a donation of $20.
Security. We want all our volunteers and shoppers to be and feel safe. A security guard will be present during shopping hours.
How to Help:
❤️ Donate items! Look in your closet for treasures you’re no longer enjoying … women’s clothing, jewelry, handbags, scarves, hats (but no shoes) … any size, style and season … on hangers, please. When we emphasize quality, we’re not necessarily seeking “fancy” things, but interesting items. in excellent condition that will appeal to people at church who enjoy treasure-hunting for a good cause
Donation times:
Jewelry ONLY: Sunday, January 19, 9:15 – 12:30 pm, Foyer
All items: Sundays, January 26 & February 2, 9 am – 12:30 pm, Foyer
Volunteers will be ready to receive donations before, between, and after services. Bring items to the Foyer, or to the circle drive on Preston and we’ll unload them from your car.

There will be volunteer roles in the weeks leading up to Clothes Encounters (starting this Sunday), as well as during the event February 7, 8 and 9. You may also use the volunteer form to sign up to bring refreshments for the first shopping night (February 7). Feel free to sign up for as many roles as you’d like! Click here to sign up.

Tell your family, friends, colleagues, book club, yoga class, neighbors…etc. Some people are inviting their friends to come as a group and shop together.
