Biblical Literacy for Unitarian Universalists, Part 2 – Online

Wednesdays, September 10 – October 15 | 7:00pm-8:30pm | 6 sessions

Congregations around the country are using our church’s Faith Forward program, and this is an opportunity to connect and learn alongside them. Biblical Literacy for Unitarian Universalists is an exploration of the Bible, and how we as Unitarian Universalists approach the text. Those with a little knowledge of the Bible to those who have a lot of knowledge are encouraged to attend. As we connect our own lives and faith as Unitarian Universalists to the Biblical literature, we learn from each other’s experiences.

Part II includes: “Approaching the Bible – Many Books, Many Sources,” “Prophets,” “Paul’s Letters,” “Revelation,” “Psalms,” and “The Bible and Our Lives.” This is a unique opportunity to view the Bible through a Unitarian Universalist lens and to connect in community with UUs from all over the country (and sometimes other countries!).

Note: This series of 6 sessions follows Part I offered in the spring, but you do not have to have attended Part I to participate.
