What does it mean to become? In these reflections, 3 Unitarian Universalist teens—Bella Uber, Connor Shear, and Dascha Ruprecht—share their personal journeys of faith, identity, and self-discovery.
Bella reflects on feeling isolated from peers because of her faith, only to find a deeper sense of belonging on a transformative trip to Boston. Connor shares his experience of realizing he was transgender and how his UU community helped him embrace his identity. Dascha explores how love, loss, and family have shaped her understanding of what it truly means to become.
Through moments of doubt, growth, and resilience, these three young voices speak to the power of community, justice, and radical love. Their stories remind us that becoming isn’t just about where we’ve been—but about who we choose to be moving forward.
