Adult Protective Services Gift Drive – Final Update!
As of Tuesday, December 12th, there are 35 wish lists still available. Our goal is to have them all taken and gifts returned by December 17th.
Highlights include M. Watson, a 35 year old man seeking interactive musical toys suitable for children and some comfortable clothing or bedding, and T. White, a 27 year old woman who has asked for travel, nature and other magazines as well as water color paint books and some warm clothing. Both of these folks, along with many others, are available at this link.
As we have done in the past, all gifts must be returned, wrapped and securely tagged, to the Community Services table on or before Sunday, December 17th.
Donations are also going to be accepted from Church members. These funds will be used to purchase gift cards that caseworkers can use to buy gifts for their clients. Donations for this effort will be accepted here. Just select “Adult Gift Drive” in the “Fund” drop down menu.
Checks can also be mailed to First Unitarian Church of Dallas at 4015 Normandy Ave., Dallas, TX 75205. Please make the checks out the First Unitarian Church with Adult Gift Drive in the memo line.
