A Message from the Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees enjoyed celebrating Ingathering with so many of you on Sunday, September 8. We’re looking forward to learning and growing together in exploring this year’s theme, “Keeping the Flame: Then, Now and Always” and celebrating the church’s 125th anniversary throughout the year.

The Board continues to focus on its priorities of self governance, racial equity, increasing communication with the Congregation, building out the Board archives as a resource for future leaders, developing ways to promote greater diversity among individuals nominated to the Board, and deciding whether to pursue a solar energy project for the church. We are also now beginning the annual budgeting process and planning for our annual staff appreciation event.

We hope you will join us for the Parish Meeting on December 15th, when we will share the budget, present a slate of nominees for service on next year’s Board of Trustees and hear updates from the Strategic Planning committee.
