A Message About Multi-Generational Worship
We believe worship is a shared experience where all forms of presence and participation are valued. Whether people are still or moving, silent or vocal, every expression of worship has a place here.
We invite everyone to be mindful of those around them:
- Greet one another with warmth and kindness.
- Offer help when you see someone juggling books or looking for a page.
- Make space for different ways of engaging: movement, sound, or stillness.
- Understand that not all differences are visible. Some may express focus or reverence in ways unfamiliar to others. That’s okay.
Accessibility supports are available:
Hearing assistance devices and large-print hymnals are available. Our ushers will be happy to assist you in getting what you need.
Need something for busy hands?
We will be handing out crayons during the story at the beginning of the service. Come on up and take a set, along with the coloring sheets on the back of the program. They’re here to help anyone, of any age, stay centered and engaged in their own way.
If worship becomes overwhelming, it’s okay to step out for a moment. You’re welcome to view the service from the foyer or the library lounge. Take the time you need, and know you’re always welcome to return when you’re ready. This space is yours, too.
Let’s create a space where everyone can connect, worship, and feel truly welcome, just as they are.
