Imbolc Potluck and Ritual – Hosted by Earth Centered Spirituality

Join us as we celebrate Imbolc, a traditional Irish festival marking the midway point between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. It is a time to honor Brigid, the goddess of fertility, healing, poetry, and smithcraft, and to celebrate the returning light as winter begins to wane.

Through a community potluck, ritual, and fireside connection time we will nurture our dreams, ignite our inner fire, and honor the spark of renewal within us all!

This event is open to individuals of all backgrounds and beliefs who wish to come together in reverence for nature and community. All ages welcome and wanted – bring the whole family.

What to expect:

💚 Seasonal crafts including Brigid’s Crosses and a wooden intention chain.
🕯 A brief but meaningful program of music, movement, and community ritual.
🔥 Time for community connection by the fire.

What to wear:

🍀❤️🐑 Dress in the symbolic colors of Brigid if you can! – green, red, and white. As always, we encourage you to adorn yourself in nature – try making a crown, headpiece, or corsage with items found in nature.

What to bring:

🍴 A dish for the potluck – traditional Irish dishes and dishes with seasonal vegetable encouraged.
🌿 Seasonal, natural items for the community altar

How to help:
Signing up for a volunteer role at our gatherings is an opportunity to reconnect with the ancient traditions of community and village life, where collective effort and mutual support were integral to the well-being of all. By taking on a volunteer role with our group, you not only continue this sacred tradition, but help nurture a thriving, sustainable community that aligns with the values of respect, stewardship, and unity.

Each event requires group leaders to pre-purchase a modest amount of supplies. We ask for your contributions to cover these expenses. If you are able to give, the suggested contribution is $5-10 per gathering. Contributions are not required, but much appreciated.
