What to Know About Building with Dallas Habitat:
Please arrive on time to receive the safety briefing at 8:00am! Dallas Habitat provides all tools and safety equipment required for the build site.

General Rundown:
7:45am – 8:00am —— Volunteer check-in
8:00am – 8:30am —— Welcome and Safety brief
8:30am – 11:30am: —- Work
11:30am – 12:00pm: — Break for lunch
12:00pm – 2:30pm: —- Work
2:30pm – 3:00pm: —– Clean-up
What to wear:
Comfortable clothing and shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
Closed-toed shoes are required!
Not allowed:
Sandals, flip-flops, slippers, or Crocs.
Clothing with words or images that can be perceived as vulgar, offensive, or obscene.
Clothing that is too revealing.
What to bring:
Any personal medical items (Inhaler, EpiPen, etc.)
Personal water bottle or soft drink, snacks or sack lunch, a smile, and a willingness to help!
COVID-19 Safety Precautions:
Anyone who is more comfortable wearing a mask should feel free to wear one.
Please cancel your registration if you or anyone in your household develops COVID-19 symptoms or are exposed to someone who may have COVID-19, in the 10 days prior to your volunteer shift.
