WDA Contributes $8500 to 2022-23 Charitable Gift Recipients

Women’s Day Alliance is proud to announce the recipients of their charitable gifts for 2022-2023:

  • New Mexico Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice – $1,500
  • City Square – $1,500
  • Agape Clinic – $1,500
  • Our Friends Place – $1,500
  • First Unitarian Church Fund for Reproductive Justice – $1,500
  • In addition, we are happy to add Bonton Farms to the winner’s circle. Since it was only one vote away from the top five, the team suggested that the organization receive $1,000.

The total for these gifts is $8,500, which is the amount proposed by the finance committee for distribution this spring. Funds were raised from the Crafty Bake Sale in November 2022 and Clothes Encounter in February 2023 as well as from funds carried over from 2020-21.

In addition, the Women’s Day Alliance continues to help care for our Medicaid Recipient Neighbors at Fair Park HealthCare Center by providing friendly visits, games, a garden club, and many useful small gifts.

You may join WDA and help serve the social and spiritual needs of our members and community by emailing our Members Team Leader, Margaret Moore.
