Laurel Hallman and Peter Morales (the two candidates for President of the UUA) addressed their positions on environmental justice and issues concerning our Seventh Principle, "Respect for the interdependent web of existence of which we are all a part."
Peter Morales focused his comments on sustainability within his congregation and his home.
Laurel Hallman reminded us we are not the center of creation. She takes a larger, inclusive (personal and global) view of our "interconnected web".
Also speaking briefly was a representative for the ethical treatment of animals and a representative for farm workers’ rights.
